Chest pain with Birth Control?

I'm married have two kids and my husband has had a vasectomy, so I'm not on BC for pregnancy. I've started it to try and help my endometriosis. I've never really been able to take BC because of the bad side effects I have. I just started Ortho tri cyclen LO and I'm starting to get chest pain. This is a common side effect I have with some medications. My question is should I give it time or is this a serious side effect that means I should stop the medication?
