I paid for 4 airline tickets for a girls week vacation. everyone has paid but for one. ?

That was 7 months ago. she said originally she would pay me in installments. I even suggested when she got her loan for her job that she just tack on another 600.00, but no she did not. I even said when you get your stimulus check from the government to pay me with that, since it was unexpected money and not accounted for. NOT A SINGLE PENNY I RECEIVED. she even had the nerve to tell me that she just paid off her car and that THAT money was going to go extra toward paying off her job. Her excuse is "you guys make a lot of money, unlike me. you can afford it". she avoids my requests for the money, doesn't answer the phone when I call. This happens to be a good friend who I socialize with in a bunko group once a month. she is also someone I am co-hosting a bridal shower with before the trip. (how can she afford that?). my husband who is an attorney want to take her to court, but she used to work at the court house for a judge and now works at a local law firm. I dont want to embarr her with this. I've no idea what to do. how do I handle this? the airline I don't think will refund, because of it being non refundable (which she knew) and now I don't think they will vouch me because its in her name not mine, even though it was bought with my credit card. HELP!!!!
