Can the conjunction phrase "so that" appear sentence-initially?

My colleague told me there is no placing "so that" at the sentence-initial position. She said the pharse can only appear in the middle or near the end of a sentence. But I am sure I have seen examples somewhere in which "so that" was given the sentence-initial position. I'd appreciate it if anyone could explain this to me and quote me some clic examples.
