At school were you scared of spelling bees or was it your forte?

I was usually quite good at spelling when I was at school, no computers with spell checkers then, so we used to have spelling tests once a week. Nowadays, even in exam situations, spelling is largely ignored with regards to marking. Also, with all the texting youngsters do, it's an entirely different kettle of fish.
