Omg i need advice... can u please answer?

Ok I got a cold sore on january... and now I just got one omg is killing my life I don't wanna get them anymore!!! What do I do? I've been getting them ever since I was younger I just don't wanna put up with it anymore! I have been trying to take care of myself like putting lip mosturizer with spf because I tought that it was the weather! I really do not know anymore! What can I do to prevent them for coming? I don't have a doctor or insurance... please help thank you!
