Naturally every municipality still maintain their own firemen to put out the fire the only purpose of fire extinguisher is to lessen the spread of the fire while the fire trucks are still on the way. But local gov't have allocation of funds so why not divert the funds to buy fire extinguisher to distribute to different barangay esp. those depress area in the city. We help those who help themselves instead of helplessly looking for a bucket of water to put out a fire we might as well equip them with a fire extinguisher. There are many NGO's in the Philippines that can ease up with donation of these kind isn't it? I just had an epiphany when i was on a 8 hour bus ride and had nothing to do. Transmission problems and slight whining?

I have a 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT, automatic trans. I got the transmission flushed about 1,500 miles ago, it has 99,940 on it right now. Today it started doing something i have never had a problem with before. I went to stop at a stop at a red light and as soon as it shifter down to 2nd or 1st gear it felt like the brakes were put on, hard. It did it no more than maybe a second if that, then let up. When i went to go at the green light, the car went and then the engine reved up to 4K rpm, but wasnt moving the car. I let off the gas and pressed on it again, it finally went. 2nd red light, exact same thing happens. I bring it home and park it for about 6 hours or so and try to run it again after it cooled. It was fine for the first 13 miles and then it started it again, not as bad this time though. I turned overdrive off and it helped a little, but now there is a slight whine. Repairable or do i need a completely new trans? Worth it? I love the car.

Why does my car operate normally when Relay is removed?

I had a couple power draws while the car is off coming from 2 fuses. Instead of pulling the 2 fuses every time i leave the car i pulled the lighting relay. Sending kids to school has only been the norm for the last 100 years...thats nothing when you look at it in the grand scale. Well, the best thing to do is to let him fuss a bit and if he gets himself soo worked up that you know he isn't going to fall asleep, pick him up again and get him to the point where he's drowsy and then lay him down again. Just keep doing that... get him into a good routine and eventually he will be fine and he'll be falling asleep on his own in no time. As he gets a bit older (4-5 months) you can start laying him down more awake so that you don't even have to rock him or anything.

What are the floaties in my water bottle?

I have nalgene water bottles. I fill them about 1/4 full and freeze that, then add more water so my water stays cold. The water I use is spring water from a big 5 gal jug which is on a water cooler. When I go to drink it I see little white things floating around in my water which grosses me out. Ponying yearling for the first time

I was going to pony my 15 month old gelding today, but i want to make sure i stay as safe as possible. He know how to lead, back, turn stop. He is pretty spooky with new, stange objects. The horse i will be riding has never ponyed a spooky yearling before, but has ponied 1 or 2 adult horses. How do i make this as safe as possible? Do i dally the lead rope or just hold it w/o a dally? What do i do if my yearling spooks big time at something?

Repainting a concrete floor-help?

I just finished painting my porch last weekend. i just got a flat shovel and began scraping. the actually make a scr for doing such a task then i scrubbed the floor with bleach, water and a drop of laundry soap then moped a couple times with clean water. let dry. then just rolled on a gallon of battleship grey cement paint from walmart saved a little bit for a couple ares that need a second coat. luv it ! 1 galon 250 sq feet ( use all tools and rollers with long handles)
